This is a not-to-be missed concert and conversation! The Caribbean Jazz Collective is an ensemble consisting of some of Canada’s best jazz artists representing the diverse Caribbean diaspora in Canada. Members include Eddie Bullen- keys, (Grenada), Joaquin Nunez Hidalgo -percussion(Cuba) , Gareth Burgess-steel pan, Trinidad, Neal Brathwaite-sax, Barbados and Andrew Stewart-bass, Jamaica.
The Collective performs beloved music from the Caribbean with a jazz twist and take jazz standards and adds a Caribbean flavour. The collective always aims to give their audience a few rays of sunshine through the styles of the Caribbean.
