A meeting of Soul, Funk, World & House Music, Groovin' in The Park is a 2-day festival at Toronto's Woodbine Park and is a part of the Toronto Beaches Jazz Festival summer programming.  The family-friendly setting of Woodbine Park in the city's East end is a beautiful setting for this community-focused dance party which includes delicious food options, a beer garden, and shaded seating and it's Free!   


Past performers include DJ Spinna's WONDER-FULL, Tortured Soul, Roy Davis Jr., Greg Wilson, Starting From Scratch, Jojo Flores, Tush, Soul Motivators, Jason Palma, DJ Yogi, Ritmo Collective, Mike Gibbs, Make it Funky DJs, and more from the city's rich dance community.

Mark Farina has solidified himself in the world of Dance Music as a trailblazing DJ, Producer, tastemaker, and bona fide House Music icon.

After 3 decades of crisscrossing the globe, he shows no signs of slowing down remaining innovative, humble, and firmly rooted in the underground.

We return to the Main Stage Sunday, July 30 for the last day of the Jazz Festival. What better way to send it off than with these 4 amazing artists.

Take 92 Woodbine South Bus from Woodbine Subway Station
Take 22 Coxwell Bus from Coxwell Subway Station
Take the 501 Queen Street Streetcar east from Queen or Osgoode Subway Stations

Take the 401 to Don Valley Parkkway South, exit at Lakeshore Boulevard East
Travel along Lakeshore Boulevard East until you reach Coxwell Avenue
Turn left (north) on Coxwell Avenue
Turn right on Queen Street East


Driving from the West:

Take the QEW Toronto to the Gardiner Expressway and take Exit 155 for Jarvis Street
Drive to Lake Shore Blvd E

Travel along Lakeshore Boulevard East until you reach Coxwell Avenue
Turn left (north) on Coxwell Avenue
Turn right on Queen Street East



Metered parking is available throughout the Beach area along its main arteries. Several Toronto Parking Authority lots are also scattered throughout the area.
