Born and raised just outside of Toronto, brothers Shade, Key and Nathan Samuel Phillip developed an interest in music at an early age.  Sharing an innate knowledge of rhythm and a passion for songwriting, the boys formed a band and used their basement to rehearse.  MENEW worked hard to develop their own unique sound and were influenced by both classic British rock and contemporary greats.  Attracting the attention of top-rated record producers Rick Parashar and Scott Mathews as well as director Lyle Christie, MENEW released their first album, Of The Future in 2009, which was shortlisted at the Grammy Awards for ‘Album of the Year’ and honoured by Billboard for its hit single, “This Isn’t Real”.  MENEW headed back into the studio in late 2009 to record a new full-length album, Take Them One By One, which debuted to high acclaim.  Showcasing their brilliant melodies, bold guitar sounds and aggressive keyboarding skills, MENEW will be touring across North America this summer.
