Jorge Martinez was born and raised in Argentina and began playing the guitar at the tender age of 14.  Quickly establishing himself as a musical phenomenon, Martinez’s sound is distinct to the genre of ethnojazz and is often described as original and acoustic with a strong international flavour.  His cultural roots have deeply influenced his music and as such, there are often hints of flamenco in his distinct sound.  Multi-talented Martinez is a guitarist, composer, arranger, musical director and producer who co-produced the flamenco-Latin flavoured Joanna Moon Project and also collaborated on the recording of the Catherine Potter Project.
