Singer-songwriter and philanthropist Sean Jones defines his unique style of music as a fusion of soul and R&B vocals over various shades of rock. Jones’ seven-song debut album entitled This is Love combines lush harmonies, memorable melodies and soulful lyrics with his deeply moving and powerful voice. Jones signed with WIDEawake Entertainment Group in June 2008 and has been gaining recognition ever since. His first group, BMG male vocal quintet In Essence, won a Juno for ‘Best R&B Video’ for the hit Friend of Mine. After retiring from In Essence, Jones decided on a solo career and began playing guitar and writing songs for his debut album This is Love which was released in early 2009. Jones is the official spokesperson for the newly formed AKW charity which builds schools for disabled children in Kabul. As a truly dedicated artist, Jones continues to write and record daily in order to digitally feed fans new music as often as possible.
