At just sixteen-years-old, Daniel Panetta has a voice and stage presence far beyond his years. Panetta’s influence comes from his exposure to Elvis, which led to countless hours of singing and practicing “the moves” in front of the mirror as a child. Panetta has also played in a theatre production of Grease, where he starred as the main character, Danny Zucco. Recognizing his musical talent and relentless drive, Panetta’s parents enrolled him at the Arcadia Academy of Music and also arranged for classical vocal training. Shortly after, Panetta began playing guitar and writing his own music and lyrics, which eventually morphed to his leading a five-piece band in 2006-2007 that played at venues such as El Mocambo, Reilly’s, Funhaus and the Opera House. As a solo artist with his natural baritone talent, Panetta has placed high and won many local competitions such as Maplefest, York Region Talent Search and CNE’s Rising Star. He also keeps busy performing at events and charity functions with the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children.
