Born in Johannesburg S. A., June Garber’s lineage extends back to Israel, Spain and Russia.

After immigrating to Canada, she formed her own 8 piece Group and toured Canada & the US in Vegas & Atlantic City for 8 years. Her recording "Someone" reached the Top 10 on the RPM Charts in Canada.

She then worked extensively in the Performing Arts field in most of the Major Theatres across Canada. June also did a lot of Film & TV work through 1991.

After a 15 year hiatus, June is back and has returned to her Jazz Roots!

Quote from Bill King “For those artists wholeheartedly committed to their craft, accomplishment and success can be measured in pop culture terms or life”s expansive plan. Patience, a strong will, determination and willingness to learn can out maneuver any stereotypical portrait or implacable barrier. Such is the world June Garber has entered since making the critical decision to pursue art as art and find out if the dream of becoming the jazz singer she’s always embraced is only a fleeting reality or a most sustainable goal. I think the title of her debut CD “Smile” at a time when many are looking at winding down expectations says volumes about the gift that resides deep within and the person who has been able to channel all of this into a major career change”.

Her Debut CD “Smile” has had wonderful Reviews and Radio airplay!

Her website: www.junegarber.com will give you everything that is happening with her very busy performance schedule for this Summer Season!

Here what the press has to say about June...

“June has a Potent Voice, Brimming of Character and Readily Adaptable to Any Material. She’s clearly able to Tackle Tunes of Infinite Variety as she does on her Debut CD “SMILE”
