We need Volunteers for the 24th Annual Festival

Have you ever thought about the logistics behind hosting upwards of one million Festival guests during the course of our Festival Week?  Many volunteers already have!  These enthusiastic folks have put their time, skill and enthusiasm into the event and helped us make Festival Week a success.  Some make their volunteerism a yearly ritual!  We are accepting volunteer applications starting February 6th, 2012.

In 2011, we had volunteers come to us from the local community and also from around the world!  Thanks to all!  Special thanks to our fifty plus “public safety” volunteers from Sheridan's Police Foundations Program.  You did an amazingly professional job!

So - there are a wide variety of ways in which volunteers can participate – information services, crowd management, production, hospitality, assorted backstage and front of house services for staged events, workshops, photo tent, to name a few.

We need 300 volunteers for Festival Week 2012 and could also use some pre-Festival week volunteers as well.

We can accommodate you with volunteer shifts that still give you plenty of time to enjoy the Festival.

CO-OP STUDENTS

We participate on an on-going basis in taking college students for their co-op work terms, in the following areas: Financial Management and Administration, Marketing, Promotion and Sponsorship, and Event Production.
