The Beaches International Jazz Festival has rapidly become a hallmark of Toronto's entertainment landscape. It's everything you'd expect from a festival and more. It's flavourful ambience, the outdoor park setting, the exciting and entertaining performers and the music itself! The success over the past nine years' festivals has also resulted in millions of dollars for the local businesses and an enormous amount of publicity for the beach district. On the evening of Sunday, July 27th the last act performed down at Kew Gardens, and the musicians packed up as the thousands of spectators turned to leave the park. The last of the tens of thousands who came to the Beaches Neighbourhood to dine, drink shop and enjoy the music leave for home, as plans for the 10th Annual International Beaches Jazz festival are soon underway! |
