It's back to the Beach with the 7th Annual Beaches International Jazz Festival! By this time, the Beaches Jazz Festival had raised in excess of $100,000 for local charities and is still going strong! Over the previous six years, the festival had come to rely on the generous contribution from increasing numbers of volunteers, service clubs, local businesses and corporate partners to ensure the smooth operation and financial success of the weeks events. A special applause goes out to the inexhaustible energy of Lido Chilelli, who motivates the organizing committee to begin the quest for a superior event each season. Furthermore, credit must be given to the City of Toronto and the Department of Parks and Recreation for bearing the scars of Kew Garden after over a half a million people visit the park over a five-day period! The crowds are getting bigger and better every year!
