So far, through the sale of T-shirts and other Beaches Jazz Festival memorabilia, $75,000 has been raised in support of local charities. The 6th Beaches Jazz Festival was also proud to add a second charity to the list who will benefit from the annual event - Toronto Beaches Lions Club - a non-profit organization that provides associations, and individuals in "real need". Again, FREE parking was available at a Greenwood Raceway and a double- decker shuttle service was in operation at no cost. Local and international artist performed for visitors to Kew Gardens, and over 30 arts and crafts exhibitors displayed their goods throughout the festival.
