Young and talented, Toronto-based Boxcar Boys are quickly becoming a fan favourite on the local music scene.  Their unique mix of New Orleans jazz, klezmer beats and folk grooves is sure to get heads bopping and feet dancing.  With a never-waning sense of humour and excitement, The Boxcar Boys bring a keen spirit of improvisation to their music ensuring that no two performances are ever the same.  The band features Juno-nominated Rob Teehan on sousaphone, clarinetist and tunesmith John David Williams, jazz master Karl Silveira on trombone, folky fiddler Laura Bates and soulful Ronen Segall on accordion.  The band’s debut album Don’t Be Blue was released this summer.
