Playing more keyboard than the law allows, Deanna achieves her long standing goal “to create a fusion of all these different musical styles with Blues and Boogie genuinely at the core” in her performances each and every night! Calling on her musical experiences of Western Swing, Blues, and R&B, coupled with her diverse influences, (including Jay McShann and Ella Fitzgerald), Bogart and her inventive band never stop pushing the envelope. Her sound is constantly evolving as evidenced by the breadth of music found on her eight releases to date that not only display her mastery of the keyboard, but also highlight her eloquent phrasing on tenor sax.
