MAP and DIRECTIONS

TTC Routes:
  • Take 92 Woodbine South Bus from Woodbine Subway Station
  • Take 22 Coxwell Bus from Coxwell Station.
  • Take the 501 Queen St Streetcar east from Queen or Osgoode Subway Stations

Driving from the North:
  • 401, Don Valley Pkwy South, exit Lakeshore Boulevard East
  • Travel along Lakeshore Boulevard East until you reach Coxwell Avenue
  • Turn Left (North) on Coxwell Avenue
  • Turn Right on Queen Street East

Driving from the West:
  • QEW Toronto to Gardiner Expressway and exit Lakeshore Boulevard East
  • Travel along Lakeshore Boulevard East until you reach Coxwell Avenue
  • Turn Left (North) on Coxwell Avenue
  • Turn Right on Queen Street East

Woodbine Park:
Woodbine Park is located at the corner of Northern Dancer Boulevard and Lake Shore Boulevard East (Northern Dancer is between Coxwell and Woodbine Avenues).

Parking:
Take the "better way" - use Toronto Transit if you can. Or, cab it (12 minute ride from downtown Toronto). If this doesn't work for you, metered parking is available throughout the Beach area along its main arterials. Several Toronto Parking Authority lots are also scattered throughout the area. Road Closures
During Beaches Jazz Festival StreetFest, on the nights of Thursday July 24th, Friday July 25th, and Saturday July 26th, Queen Street E. will be closed from Woodbine Ave. to Beech Ave. from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm nightly. The north / south streets of Waverley Ave., Wineva Ave., and Lee Ave. will remain open throughout the evening.


Road Closure Details
Details re Road Closures:
Area residents who live south of Queen Street East from Balsam Avenue to Lee Avenue will be able to drive through the area by going to the following locations:
  • Lee Avenue to travel both north and south;
  • Wineva Avenue for south bound drivers

The City of Toronto will temporarily open several one-way streets to two-way traffic. These include:

  • Hambly Avenue;
  • Hubbard Boulevard;
  • Balsam Avenue;
  • Fir Avenue; and
  • Spruce Hill Road

Area residents who live south of Queen Street East from Waverly Road to Kippendavie Avenue will be able to drive through the area by going to the following locations:

  • Waverley Road to travel south only from Norway Avenue or Kingston Road;
  • Kew Beach Avenue at Woodbine Avenue

Here as well the city will open the following streets to two-way traffic:

  • Kenilworth Avenue; and
  • Kippendavie Avenue

Residents of Harford and Herbert Avenues will be allowed to enter their neighbourhood via Hartford, which will also handle two-way traffic during the closures. Access will also be allowed through a laneway just north of Queen Street East or a laneway between Elmer and Herbert Avenues.

At each of the intersections allowing access to neighbourhoods, police officers will be on-hand to direct traffic.
